THE VISION
God Likes Funky Music Too, a Lifestyle Evangelism movement, seeks to tell the HUGE & AWESOME STORIES of our HUGE & AWESOME God LOUD & CLEAR (note the GLFMT Dictionary) so that they reach the farthest corners of the planet.
It stands for the way of life that we that we lead, as Christians, and then as musicians/artistes, each called to our own craft (see below). As musicians/artistes, our craft is a way of life. It’s not a routine we go through. It’s something we choose to do, and do we because we want to. Its challenges regardless, it remains pursued as much as there is a drive in us to do it.
Faith, like music, is also a way of life. It is not a set of rules and rituals that are followed every weekend and sometimes during the week. Our faith and beliefs are real, everyday and every second values and principles that are lived right through every moment of our lives. Combining the two produce another way of life. It is this way of life, Lifestyle Evangelism, that God Likes Funky Music Too supports.

STORY WISE
The unmissable element of this way of life is the element of each one’s story. Every Christian has a story which speaks of the blessings that God has bestowed on them and experiences that God has given them the privilege of going through. Every Christian who sings songs sings about his or her respective story. The same goes for all Christians – *singers or not – they all have stories.
GREATER CREATIVITY
As artistes who sing of the stories which we have and have had the privilege of knowing courtesy the God we worship, we are expected to sing these songs “skillfully with a loud noise”(Psalms 33:3) so that they are heard loud & clear – speaking clearly of the truth of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
God Likes Funky Music Too is for creativity of this kind. It intends to bring together peopl who decide to take up Christian music/art and get creative with it – doing it skillfully with a loud noise so that the world can hear us better, louder and clearer.
God Likes Funky Music Too is not a geographically bound movement – anyone, anywhere is welcome to join. Answer The Call
